Federal Court Orders USCIS to Resume Accepting DACA Renewals

Effective January 13, 2018, USCIS will begin accepting renewal applications for those whose DACA expired on or after September 5, 2016.  Individuals whose DACA expired before September 5, 2016 and failed to apply for renewal may not renew, but may file a new initial DACA request.

Individuals who have never before been granted deferred action under DACA are not eligible to apply.  In addition, USCIS will not accept or approve advance parole requests from DACA recipients.

If you have any questions regarding eligibility please contact our office.
